Junimo Huts have been in Stardew valley from release and they are actually kind of amazing. Junimo Huts allow you to do other stuff on your farm, ginger island, or in the mines without having to worry about harvesting your mountains of crops. Although harvesting crops yourself is pretty easy and doesn’t take that much time when you have a very large farm it can actually take quite a while to harvest everything, plus you’d have to do that every few days for all of your crops that regrow. That is where Junimo huts come in and save the day! How to get Junimo hut? You can build the Junimo Hut around the mid to end game by completing a simple quest for the wizard and then purchasing it in his tower.

    I'm actually confused why there's no floating red monster that chased after you when got the Ink. It appeared in my game and I was lucky to cross the magic circle in a frenzy

    i was so excited to finally get a junimo hut but was so disappointed in how slow they took to harvest… i just end up harvesting myself 😩

    Will 2 side by side huts be enough to allow them to harvest everything in 1 day? So that all crops can regrow at the same rate?

    I don't really like junimo huts, because they harvest crops so long you can run out of time if you need to plant your crops at the same day (for starfruit seeds it is crucial). They are really good for multiharvest crops. The problem is that I always forget to buy strawberries in advance for the next year, and blueberries (according to haboo) are overrated. Hops make sense only if you turn them to pale ale but who wants to spend all their time on it, and i don't like corn.
    So junimo huts are great basically only for ancient fruit. It's sad you can't place them on ginger island, because I don't want my ancient seeds die in winter, it's too much seeds. So I never could really figure out what to use huts for. Maybe I'm too logical for this game…
    I like how they changing colours with a prismatic shard though 🙂

    Could you chain up like 3 huts to the same section of crop, or give them a bunch of overlap, or even just a smaller patch? Say for instance, with that patch u showed, use 4 huts, 1 on each corner?

    Ancient fruit is my go-to for the junimo huts on the beach farm. I have a junimo hut with 7 tiles in every direction planted with ancient fruit and with deluxe retaining soil so that I don't have to water them. Then I plant the season-specific crops on the tiles with sprinklers. Works perfectly.

    Im really late but, can i just ask, can i still get the junimo hut if i complete the joja mart instead? Im planning on just completing the joja mart cuz its easier😅

    I know I'm late but Maybe someone doesn't know: if you put a Gem or a prismatic shard into the Junimo Hut, they are the same colour as that gem and even be prismatic and change colours with that prismatic shard!

    To anyone wondering, Junimo huts can farm 8 tiles away centered from the door/entrance. But as I like to do it, I only plant crops 6 tiles from the center because they farm the crops so fvcking slow.

    As I get further in the game, I find myself being less and less bothered to farm.

    If I wanted, I could just completely dig up my crop area and it wouldn’t affect me too much, however, I absolutely love it still.

    I love planting all of the crops and selling them off to the shipping bin, plus it gives me a very nice money boost.

    Forgot to mention you can change the color of the Junimos with a Gem. They will match the gem you put in their hutch. A prismatic shard will make them change color consantantly, a ruby will make all of them from that hut be red etc.
