I started my journey building Minecraft computers back in 2020. I never got past figuring out how to store and process data so I easily gave up. With the new copper bulb addition it reawakened a spark in my passion. I had since lost the world but had created a new one to work on. And this time my builds have gotten better. I have remnants of my previous builds and I will link them below. But the photos seem are my current builds.

Each of the builds uses an individual unit for each bit. So each one can be written and read individually by design (I link them together to make things easier for me and to fully read a byte)

Each design also has three distinct functions, and read (green line), write (gray line), and erase (purple line), along with their associated input (blue) and output (red) lines.

First photo is my most recent compacted eight bit system. Which can be examined further down in the list.

Second photo is a test four bit unit so I can test if my design works. It is clearer to see how each line work in conjunction than the others. So if you want to use my design please take inspiration off the first and second photo.

The third and fourth photo is an eight bit system (third is a full eight bytes, fourth is only two bytes)

The fifth photo, The four byte four bit system. I attached the system to a four way switch for the commands and an interface to be able in input data and receive it.

I am working on a larger set of the compacted eight bit units. I will be posting more along with my YouTube channel going more in depth over my progress over the new coming months working on this project.

I am still fairly new to the whole computer engineering world so I may not be the most efficient source to get from. But I hope to be able to find some great ways to work around problems.
