Whenever you fight the wall of flesh, make sure to build artificial walls on the underworld roof to make the wall spawn normally. Otherwise, the wall will stretch the entire height of the world and the eyes and mouth will be so spread out it’s impossible to fight.

you can actually beat the game with only a few dirt blocks and no mods by grinding slimes and using dirt bombs
