  1. Geez, everyone is so upset they didn't revert the copper bulb. It was probably an accident that its tick delay was different in the first place. While it may have been cool that it was different there's not really a reason it should be. We're lucky that we get to see so much of the development process for a game like Minecraft and it's stuff like this that has got to make Mojang so much more wary about sharing features that are in development. Let's all chill a little, please.

Thanks for always keeping us updated on stuff, X!

  2. I think a good use for the Breeze would be to make them work similar to dolphins but with Elytra you'd fly face first into the Breeze and it'd shoot you out at insane speeds and maybe make the player do a fun little spin too like if they used riptide

  3. You guys are all misinterpreting the can turn in boat tag, it was in fact a typo and actually means that the mob can turn INTO a boat.

  4. I like the crafter change, having it craft so fast is a little OP, but the copper bulb change upsets me. It would be nice if we could have another block with this 1gt delay property

  5. I think "can turn in boats" means that it can turn around and track the player in boats, which other mobs cannot. If you put a skeleton in a boat, it cannot turn around and shoot you if you are behind the boat.

  6. You know how you can turn 360° in a minecart, but not in a boat? That tag last mentioned in the video allows mobs to do that in boats as well. It's not about controlling the boat, just about being able to turn all the way around while sitting in it.

  7. Isn’t the whole point of the copper bulb that it’s basically a one-block T-flip-flop, rather than as a delay?

Don’t get me wrong, I liked how the the bulb allowed for some crazy desyncing in contraptions, but wouldn’t it be better if the 1-tick de-sync belong to its own block rather than the de facto memory storage one where speed is paramount?

  8. Can_turn_in_boats: Not about controlling the boat, but rather if they can rotate/orient while locked in the boat. Note the Breeze turning to face you when firing projectiles. Before, all mobs were locked into an orientation matching the boat's.

  9. It would've been cooler if when struck by a flaming arrow, the breeze deflected the arrow but it still got set on fire like a fire tornado, maybe it's attacks would now set the player on fire while the breeze would still get damaged by the fire

  10. Hey X, you might want to throw a flash warning up with that bulb in future videos! I don't have epilepsy but I do have migraines, and it definitely made me feel a bit unwell.

  11. To clarify, the copper bulb tick delay changes were backwards, so the bulb in the newer snapshots cannot blink as fast as the bulb in the older snapshots. This also reduces its overall responsiveness, meaning it cant be used as a half-redstone-tick delay mechanism any more

  12. To add to everyone else saying the tag for can turn in boat referring to the mobs ability to face directions other than forward, it's worth also noting that "can turn IN boat" not "can turn boat".

  13. Ngl I'm totally fine with the copper bulb changes. It already had the unique thing of being a one block flip-flop, it doesn't need to do more stuff on top of that. Especially because having it be both a flip-flop and allow odd ticks with no way to only do one or the other would also potentially cause frustrations as well. If a different new redstone component was added that allowed for odd ticks as an inherent part of its design that would be fine, but the copper bulb already has its thing, it doesn't need a second thing (which was probably unintentional in the first place).

And on top of that, the flickering it can do now has its own uses (flickering florescent lights in a horror map, for example).
