  1. Thank you! I just got the game and im lost. I can't do much before i pass out and woke up in my BED then received a message also missing money. I hope this helps me actually to like the game instead of just struggling. I will let you know later. 🙂

  2. Man the tip of “dont get rid of the grass so you can get hay for your silo” would’ve been so useful to me early into the game because I didnt like how dirty it made my land so i got rid of it all before I even got a silo

  3. the game made feel the same way I first played terraria. Terraria had so many items that it overwhelmed be, but I kept playing it and same with stardew valley, I finally had some knowledge on both of the games and now I'm having fun playing them. Probably one of my fav games.

  4. I just started but dont sell your parsnips you need them for a bundle if you decide to play the route with the community center. you need 5 gold parsnips and if you dont get them the first season you have to wait till the next year

  5. i bought stardew valley on my switch a few months back but really had no idea what i was doing and i wasnt really a fan of the controls but i recently decided i really wanted to try this game again knowing its right up my alley so i re-bought it for my pc (so i could download mods and the controls) and im super excited haha

  6. I'm starting this game on my semester break from scratch, I've played harvest moon before so I remember some of the starter things from that game since it's pretty similar but the last time I played it was ages ago lmao. thanks for the guide!

  7. I think a much more suitable title for this would’ve been “intermediate tips”. This is neither for beginners, nor is it a guide. It’s a collection of tips for how to be more optimized from the beginning – which is useful for sure! But the title is misleading unfortunately.

  8. This game was talked about so much by my friends who play. So I bought it yesterday. It looks a lot harder then I thought lol. I’m clueless about what to do 😂

  9. Join, make chest, sell parsnip seeds for potato seeds, save grass for hay, craft and use basic fertilizer, plant potatoes and later strawberries, make scarecrow, build silo before coop, sell potatoes etc. to Pierre, ores to Clint, and fish and beach foragables to Willy (or just use shipping bin). Supply Gunther with minerals and artifacts. Get backpack and fiber glass rod. Collect seasonal plants for bundles. Collect recipes. Use help wanted requests, gifts, birthdays, and romance. Till worms and dirt patches with hoe. Swords and scythes don’t use energy. Take food to mines. Search trash cans and mine on good luck days. Buy swords and rings from Adventurer’s guild. Upgrade pickaxe, and axe for secret woods. Sleep before 12-2am.

  10. My partner and I recently started this game as a good way to feel out our dynamic even if we're long distance. Neither of us know what we're doing so this will prove very useful!

  11. You don’t lose items if all you do is pass out, you lose a 1000 gold. If you’re in combat and lose all health, that’s when you lose a bunch of random stuff but it can be costly.
