Using Geometry Dash to recreate Terraria..? ─ “Terraria” user levels in Geometry Dash is cursed.



Geometry dash: One of the game with never ending updates. Like, literally. the development never ends. So, why don’t we mix with another game with never ending update? That’s right, someone made a Terraria custom level, in GD, so you can play Terraria in Geometry dash, a totally different game with totally different mechanics and logic… how? I have no idea. Let’s take a look at some of them…

    In case you didn't know, there are calamity themed terraria levels (such as a Devourer of Gods).
    I don't know the level Id but I believe the level is called "the devourer" for the DoG one.

    i wish you've included whirl levels too,
    theyve included the devourer, brutal calamity and sinless ash which were themed around calamity mod with various bossfights

    Alongside these levels, there are also a few Terraria (mostly Calamity)-themed levels with different names, by creators such as zYuko and Whirl.

    Some of these levels include Brutal Calamity, The Devourer, and Sinless Ash by Whirl (practice mode recommended, however, these levels are fairly object-heavy and may have issues with checkpoint lag; in this case, it may be better to watch a showcase).

    Other levels are Anahita, Elysian Aegis, and Vehemence by zYuko (however, these levels are extremely difficult and watching a showcase is recommended).

    There is also a full length layout called Stained Brutal Calamity by DigitalZero that uses the full length of the aforementioned song (except Acceptance).

    There are many other levels with Terraria references inside, such as Ancestral Calamity by MrSpaghetti and Astral Divinity by Knobbelboy (Devourer of Gods references), CYTOKINESIS (Calamity's Nuclear Terror miniboss), and Aronia by Exen (old sprite of Mod of Redemption's Nebuleus boss)

    2:12 The concept is quite clever, but god those flashing lights are aggressive

    4:24 The sprites here are indeed greatly improved compared to the previous level's
    Take the Geometry Dash UI out, hide Cubey and you can hardly tell if it is the true Terraria or not (the background's lack of details might be the only thing giving it away)
