Back when the infinite fishing glitch was around I used it to catch and endless amount of quest fish all at once, it took forever to sort through
I know about every glitches ! I feel like an accomplish terrarian, but, you missed one glitch that i loved 12 years ago, you can put a door underwater, and by spamming close/open you can drain the water pretty quickly. I remember going underground with my little door when i was 11 years old… The memories !
Dupe glitches are the best. I remember one from 1.2 I would do with my cousin.
Terraria has changed a lot since I first played and now is still the best game

One thing I noticed you missed was an item duplication glitch back in… sometime late 1.3? I forget some details, but with a chest, some bars, and a couple item frames, you could make a particular setup that would duplicate any stackable item that you had 2 or more of. Infinite stars, infinite ore/bars, infinite money, and more! I'm pretty sure it stuck around all the way until 1.4, in which it was essentially replaced by the Journey mode duplication function but it was definitely fun while it lasted

is not the amount of exploits but the amount of fixes what amaze me. imagine bethesda fixing bugs …, company quality gap.

There's secret in terraria you miss that! if you get quaset from angler there's chance to give you clow fish quaset and he said he lost her family and the fish is look like a Nemo fish!
You didn't mention the OG crafting from trash slot glitch. You could just put 100 coins in trash and craft the next tier coin without consuming them

Does anyone else remember the item frame item duplication glitch. I absolutely abused that glitch early on in the game.

I know you focused on the more prominent glitches but I would be interested in a series covering the various glitches throughout the game's history regardless of how popular they were
Anyone else play mobile Terraria when you could blow the temple door up with a bomb? My siblings and I were pretty bad at the game and struggled to kill the WoF, so we killed Golem instead! It took like 20 minutes of dodging while the traps took him out, but yeah the first time I ever beat the WoF was with a Golem Fist…

What about bast statue exploit, you can get any item using that.
what about the dupe exploit that still works?
1. turn off auto save
2. put the item you want to dupe in a chest
3. leave the world
4. come back
5. take the item outside of the chest and put it in your inventory
6. Die (in the game obviously)
7. alt f4 before you respawn
8. go into the world again and the items will be in the chest and also in your inventory!
