On Xbox this doesn’t work. It doesn’t put the brackets in its name so I didn’t get the fish 🙁
Can confirm: Split screen Duplication glitch works on Xbox as of Aug 16th.
Can use two controllers for splitscren, probably can do it with two keyboards if you’re crazy.

The glitch itself works, the code thing doesn't. You can catch that fish, use iridium bars, prismatic shards hell even diamonds to make easy money.
SOMEONE HAS THE ITEMS CODE WITH IMAGES OF ITEMS???
On PC you can skip the step about buying animals. Once you set the game for coop, It works with a table and two controllers. I'm on the Steam version.
Item codes were patched on console but you can still duplicate items that you have.

It doesn't work on Xbox. I multiplied an item 200 times and the amount of this item was shown at the left down corner of the screen but there was still just one item in the bag 🙁
