  1. I don't see CA changing the game so that bee houses work inside. He doesn't allow ancient fruit to be grown in pots already, and that sort of change seems similar. However, I totally agree on the mead. I (like everyone else) was devastated when I put my fairy rose honey in a keg and it just made regular mead. Everything else you put in kegs/preserve jars changes based on what it is, so that should as well. Additionally, getting wild bait in worm bins would be a GAME CHANGER.

  2. I'd like to be able to name chests, just a little text box at the top so I know what I'm supposed to put in them 'cause I'm bad at organizing

  3. Ehhh, I’m gonna disagree that tea saplings need nerfed. I do min max runs on console (where clay farming is not an option) and I appreciate that they are an early competitive money maker with grinding fishing, which not everyone enjoys.

While getting wood and fiber is easy enough, gathering spring seeds requires foraging and replanting crafting spring seeds, which is just farming with extra steps. There’s also the upfront opportunity cost of befriending Caroline to 2 hearts. The higher sell cost of tea saplings is a nice trade off from more traditional crops because it’s also more labor intensive.

Honestly, I use both fishing and tea saplings together to get the funds for the bus repair, and getting to the point where you can sell tea saplings is a more entertaining and varied process than fishing grinding. You can get to level 10 fishing and sell 20-30 saplings to get to Skull Cavern by Spring 16. It’s not a one or the other type thing.

I love all your other balance suggestion, especially the bee houses/mead and Shane. 🙂

  4. I never personally have a problem with not having the copper pan on me, because I pretty much always wear it as a hat. Not because I like wearing it, but it feels like an extra inventory slot.

  5. Yeah, about Shane, I think he shouldn't mention anything about drinking a few beers before bed after marriage. That was his arc, what happened to him?

  6. If you're dancing at the flower dance, your character's clothing should match the NPCs'. Sad as it is, I understand not dancing your first year. You just moved in a few weeks ago, and nobody knows you. But keeping your clothes makes it feel like you're not a part of the community. Also, after a year or two of participation, could this person learn the dang moves already? I just hate how you're constantly sticking out like a sore thumb this whole festival.

Similarly, your character should change into appropriate attire when getting married. I understand wanting options, so there could be a few to choose between day of. Or if they want you to have to make your own, maybe have a way to lay out your wedding attire, so you change into those clothes during your wedding, and then when it cuts back to the rest of the day, you're wearing what you were before.

I know these are tiny things, but it also seems like they wouldn't be much work to implement, so I don't see why we shouldn't have them. These are things that people always complain about during these events, so clearly, these are wanted changes.

  7. If have an alternative to buffing fairy rose honey

    Buff honey in other seasons
I use a rebalance mod that make summer spangles and tulips worth the same as fairy rose (with the same growth time and seed price) and makes the 2 alterntine flower as cheep as blue jazz (with a quicker grow time and higher seed price) with sunflowers as a middle ground honey

I don’t agree with the mead buff instead buff the base mead to be an alternative to planting the weaker flower

  8. I like most of these propositions. The only one I think is not really needed is the honey one, since you can achieve that effect on Ginger Island (and it's arguably the best use of the west side of the farmland there). Would be nice for the different honey flavours to affect Mead though.

And on that note, I would like the quality of items to be mirrored when used to make Artisan goods. Quality fertiliser is almost useless because it's preferable to just process the crops instead.

  9. I know this is a long stretch, but it would be fun to see more weapon types. And maybe bring back the relationship weapons you earn for getting ppl to love you.
