In this video I try to beat Terraria using spears only! The rules are that I can’t kill enemies unless I have a spear equipped and also accidental hits will not count which means that if I’m chopping down a tree and I hit a slime with my axe that would be considered as an accidental hit.
With the new and recent 1.4.4 update for terraria with spears being reworked. I’ve decided to revisit a challenge that I’ve done in the past. Can I beat Terraria using spears only? Hope you all enjoy.

So he gets everything he needs from the dungeon, then gets a dark lance from his first chest and then goes back to get '1 more' chest and it's a dark lance with a modifier?
Idea:you make it so that something bad happens every morning and night like pirate invasion daytime then twins night

I remember someone beat Terraria Master mode using TOOLS. If you are playing on Expert, just man up and use the North Pole, Daybreak is not a spear.

Good video except that daybreak doesn’t actually count as a spear it counts as other if you go on to wiki and go to spears it’s not included so North Pole should have been used for moon lord

Daybreak isn't a spear. Your played on expert mode not master mode. You also need to clean out your inventory for once, AND PLEASE YOU DONT NEED THE PUMPKINS IN YOUR HOTBAR. as a terraria vet I'm disappointed greatly.

2:45 so I'm doing a challenge with my sister on collecting all weapons in terraria, but it's randomized. I got the storm spear, and I'm pretty sure I checked 80% of the underground desert and I still couldn't find it. I even used my more op character to try and find it but still couldn't. So one hour is nothing compared to my struggles

The Daybreak is a javelin, just like the Javelin dropped by the marble biome hoplites or whatever they're called and the Bone Javelins crafted from fossils. (And maybe the Scourge of the Corruptor.) The most end-game spear in 1.4.4 is either the North Pole or the Ghastly Glaive. It's not that big of a stretch to include javelins since they're basically "throwable spears" but it is one as it's a completely different weapon type with different mechanics and, in case of the consumable javelins, even different class.
