Are the vampire knives overrated in Terraria? Yes, but no. They’re an amazing weapon, don’t get me wrong, although many better alternatives present themselves after Golem and it would be plain wrong to say that they’re the best choice. Despite the lifesteal, they lack damage which is more crucial than defense endgame. Bosses like Moon Lord are also immune to lifesteal. All in all, the vampire knives are amazing as a SECONDARY weapon endgame, they simply don’t do enough damage and aren’t worth the grind to be a primary weapon. Even after 100s hours play, I still haven't got a crimson key 🙁 I think, nigh every other biome key has turned up over different play through. But never used this weapon. I really wanted to do a vampire play over October, but no luck
Got mine first try lol. Imo it’s so useful on for the worthy or else you not gonna beat golem or any other bosses
My luck will be godly for some reason when i dont need it but when i do any task that involves luck it takes hours, i got the crimson key like 2 hours after beating the wall of flesh, but when i fish for the angler it tales hours.
