I’ve done a serious amount of Terraria weapon reviews now, from early game carries like the Ice Blade to late game beasts like Razorpine. Fun fact! I still haven't reviewed even half the total weapons in the game! (Including ore variants of course lol)
The only reason why the laser machine gun will always be my pick all the way until moonlord is because it makes you feel like doom slayer
Hey Sockrteez I have an armor set that I think needs some attention. The pre-hardmode gladiator set. Good defense and an insane set bonus makes it my go to when I play melee. I use it from eoc to sometimes skeletron

In my opinion: Well yes, but actually no
Dude you didn't even mention that the laser machinegun needs a lot of mana potions to use effectively
I would rather say that Razorpine need another nerf and LMGun is really good on its own, at least good enough to get the job done.
I personally don't have much experience with most mage weapons, as I much prefer Summoner.
I love looking at other's view points on these kinds of topics however.
If I actually did play mage class, I’d probably want to use this gun
They should buff it so that it when it shoots its just one big projectile and when it lands it just deletes the game off your steam and gives you a game ban

I remember my friend giving this weapon to me back when I played on switch, and I was blown away by how cool it was. My main issue with it is the mana consumption, though I suppose it's not much of an issue at that stage of the game. A buff would be amazing, maybe make the shots homing and/or add some piercing capabilities? Really anything would be good.
The council of ChildDevourers have decided that you should see how good the yo-yo sub-class is in retrospect to all other sub-classes of melee.
I mean, I requested a vid on Fetid B-nacks but I guess majority is what matters..

I agree on the needed buff, but I still massively prefer the Lazer yo the Razorpine cause I hate that projectile drop. I used it to kill Duke and considered it during Moon Lord on my first playthough, and by the time I found the razorpine I just dumped it in my magic weapon chest with like 80 other items.
The weapon itself isn't the issue. The time you get it just makes it … underwhelming.
