I don't blame Sebastian tbh, with how Demetrius treats him compared to Maru, it's natural for resentment to form. Even his mother doesn't really seem to do anything to help or try to build a proper family connection. So it's not surprising he resents Maru because as far as he sees it… everyone just jumps on him and let's her be with whatever from his perspective
You have to remember Alex is raised by his old timer grandparents AND has no other friends besides a super girly girl who hates any sort of physical activity, heâs just ignorant! He gets better in his story obviously lol- but I like to think the things he say arenât out of malice but because he just didnât know. Like the grid ball line? Perhaps he didnât think youâd even LIKE throwing the ball because your a girl, and as for the bikini line, heâs just asking if you have a swimsuit lol, they can be taken in a bad or good way, whichever you perceive it. -an Alex defender till the day I die
Sam just doesn't feel like a young adult, he feels like a teenager. He doesn't really have much character growth, the way to gain hearts with him in the dropped egg cutscene is to lie on his behalf and be the bad guy… Then the cringe sneaking into his room and hiding from his mommy cutscene doesn't help either. It feels waaaaaaay too juvenile.
Personally Iâm a huge fan of Samâs 10 heart event because of how youthful and cheesy it feels, like I just turned 20 and never had fun mischievous experiences like that – so his event makes my heart really warm and giddy.
Personally my biggest Ick with Sam was him being so immature about the whole skateboarding heart event? Like Lewis just tells him to be careful skating around other people's property and his reaction is to pout and say "fine, guess I'll just never skateboard again >:(" HUGE Ick đŹ Like there's nothing wrong with having a fun hobby! Personally I love rollerskating, so I don't even see anything necessarily inherently childish about him skateboarding, that's fine! But throwing a temper tantrum in response to being told to be careful of other people's property is SO Ick-y Sam seems really nice in general, I love how he cares about his brother, but I can never romance him, I just feel like he never stopped being a teenager
Once I finally get that 60 items in the museum im immediately gonna start trying to become roomates with our little shady friend, Krobus. Also they should add a secret NPC that acts as a reference to you.
Sebastian's jealousy of Maru and distrust of her is bad, but when you've been pushed to the basement and neglected because of her that tends to happen, the real icks are Robin and Demetrius' abuse

This is why I have a genderswap mod installed. Less ick from the ladies.
Eh I see sebbyâs line to be more on the bad thought side than something he actually means

I guess me appreciating that Harvey has the best personality is a total ick too?
Literally the only problem is when he steals your money but thatâs more of a game thing not him
