Best Terraria Summoner Loadout Guide, 1.4.x! (Master Mode, Pre-Hardmode & Hardmode Progression)



The COMPLETE summoner loadout guide for Terraria 1.4, including 1.4.0 and onward (made in 1.4.2, still good for 1.4.3 and 1.4.4)!

Including class builds/class setup – weapons, armor, accessories, equipment/items & buffs plus useful drops for all bosses & stages of the game and difficulty levels.

Full Classic/Normal, Expert & Master Mode, Pre-Hardmode and Hardmode progression!

Note that many of these loadouts are overkill – you don’t have to get and use absolutely everything I recommend in here, but if you need a boost, here’s all the info!

The only thing missing for 1.4.3+ is Abigail’s Flower/Ghost, but you probably won’t be using that for boss fights anyway (and I made a separate guide on that)!

    What about the obsidian armour? I was doing some looking around on the wiki and it seems like the obsidian provides decent stats for pre-hardmode summoners.

    Not sure if anyone will reply to help… playing master mode 1.4.4 and just finished up Martian madness. Should I do duke or empress first? And if so, is the terraprisma THAT worth it (I have 1k hours on console but only 200 on pc, first master mode play through, so I’m not exactly a GREAT player)

    Lemme tell y'all, for moon lord use the Valhalla armor. I died 2-3 times duyring moon lord. switched and was able to kill him first try. it gives a TON of defense whilst also keeping your minions nice and buffed.

    Have played Terraria for YEARS and just NOW starting to try out the Summoner Loadout, and I have to say I am becoming a fan… SO many things for this class now… Stoked!

    You are the only person that talks about accessories in this site, I'm kind of new to terraria and not a very good player 😂😂 I always leave my worlds before plantera even.
    Just knowing what can I have in my accessories slots had made me go far. thank you.

    Started as melee class, but might go as summoner before defeating wof. I played as a mage before but I progress so fast since my friend was playing terraria too and he gave me mage stuffs so I didnt really grind all of it.

    Early game tips! 1: on master mode and harder, I recommend NOT going for snap thorn earlygame, as the jungle is deadly in pre boss. Also, I recommend abgail's flower over any other summon, because the underground snow can be deadly as well.2:after killing king slime, the royal gel will help you raid the underground snow, and the underground jungle, because of slices becoming friendly

    Abigails flower and fire whip is super op can can easily take out mechanical bosses but against the twins sanguine staff recommended, abigails flowers also op vs dreadnautilus
    Also easy to obtain
