In this episode of my Stardew Valley Expanded playthrough, we continued to get closer to Martin, one of the new Stardew Expanded NPCs, accidentally witnessing a pretty rough rejection, developed our new salal berry EMPIRE, and continued on the path to perfection by cooking recipes and gifting villagers.

  1. Not sure if it's different in Expanded, but fertilizer will only affect the first berry from each bush at every harvest. So, the extra berries that you get per crop (since you get multiple per harvest) will be regular quality. Still, I find it spicier to watch your pursuit of salal berries rather than the usual ancient fruit/starfruit empire in vanilla sv

  2. You should take more advantage of buff food, it can really make a big difference when fishing, and a ginger ale and lucky lunch both made with qi seasoning are responsible for me getting 10+ prismatic shards in the skull caverns on multiple occasions.
