  1. I don't think you've said it anywhere else in the video, or maybe you don't really know. The /tick command is from the Carpet Mod (it had more functionality in there, but hopefully it will be completed soon). You may know who is the developer of the Carpet Mod. Yes, that's right, one and only Gnembon, who is now a Mojang dev. I'm pretty sure he was in charge porting this command into vanilla. I mean, there's a high chance that moveable chests and containers are going to be added into Java in the near future, one of the most praised features of the Bedrock Edition, and one of the most useful features of the Carpet Mod.

  2. lamps light values should be changed to 3, 7, 11 and 15, it makes more sense from a binary perspective as the max is 15, and min is 0.ย

this combined with the change of outputting the light value using a comparator, instead of a full 15 for each lamp, would add more uses without changing too much. and having the outputs be 3, 7, 11 and 15 would again make more sense to hexadecimal redstone with this change.ย

another suggestion i saw was to allow a redstone pulses to lock and unlock copper doors, instead of just opening them as per all other doors. this would create new functionality and keep the idea of copper inline with the lamp, as being more of a toggle material than a on or off.

  3. watch what happens in a few months after the update released "old bat was nostalgic" like bruh, you probably forgot they existed

no one thought villages were nostalgic until they changed them

honestly though modern minecraft seems a little unfulfilling these days, I'm either gonna play with mods, or play minecraft beta 1.7.3

beta 1.7.3 was a lot more balanced, and with mods I can really balance it by making mobs faster, stronger, and smarter, disable sleep, disable netherite, limit enchants, remove natural healing, it's so good

  4. This video was great! Very interesting and informative. Especially liked the coverage of the different tuff blocks. I like that there are so many stone building blocks now. I am sure they are adding so many new variants in anticipation of the trial chambers… Great work Xisuma!

  5. I like the trend that Mojang is heading to, giving unique soundtracks to every single block type. However, I wish theyโ€™d give the old legacy blocks (like TNT for example) their unique sound instead of the default grass/stone sounds.

  6. i think it's a big missed opportunity that the doors and trapdoors dont have any interaction with oxidization! maybe oxidized doors should only be openable by redstone, for example? and weather/exposed could perhaps require less signal strength! i think it would be a very interesting mechanic to employ here.

  7. All the Copper & Redstone additions.
    Bring back the Copper Golem!

@MOJANG make good on your promise of bringing back mob concepts ๐Ÿ˜ก

  8. I would love to see some way to detect between the four different states of the the copper bulb rather than detect the age of the copper. As it is, the comparator detects whether the light is on or off, but I think each state should have a different redstone output.
