Calamity has always had some of my most favorite music out of any terraria mod. Especially unholy insurgency here with the intro…
Leg bone and spine tingling. Powerful. Angelic and yet hellish. A fight you've been yearning to take. And here it is… Providence.
Feral Amalgamation has that same similar vibe with the tingling feeling, that powerful, angelic yet hellish vibe.
Bosses that have these kinds of songs really make you feel like you're really working for freedom from the harassment of the Supreme Witch, Calamitas. It's that power that drives you to fight, even if you fall. You can get back up again, and again, and again. And it's what I love about Dokuro's work… I just wish the fan base didn't harass him into leaving..

It really puts in perspective the emotion he's trying to display in each piece of his music.

If you didnt know, there are actually secret messages in some of the songs. For instance in 30:28 (for a literal micro second) it says "Theme of the boomer fish" instead of "Theme of the old duke"

Fun Fact the bit of lore around Providence explains why Unholy Insurgency give a feeling of urgency. Providence isn't exactly good or evil, she wants to cleanse the world via baptism by fire aka making the world a scorched wasteland. so until then she slumbers in the sun only awakening to fight the player after they destroy one of her cores, enraged. at least to me the fight feels powerful and knowing that your fighting her before she was full power shows that she very well could of accomplished her goal

You have to listen to the boneworks ost
Just a heads up, Dokuro has gone on record as saying that he hates the calamity sound track and the calamity community as a whole. this is because back when he was composing for them the community was really toxic towards him. I feel like at this point he's honestly become somewhat bitter and is actively hostile towards mentions of the calamity soundtrack. I understand his anger but I don't think its healthy for him to hold onto that anger for so long. If you two ever get in contact I hope you can tell him that.
Also, "toxic wisdom" was made at the height of the toxicity so you can really FEEL how he felt during that time.
In addition, I recommend you also review some of his newer works.
