it's tooo easy making money in this game. i have to make rules to make the game fun. first, cut the profits back as far as possible. Then… a rule of… no having more than 36 of a specific crop at a time. That way it encourages to plant as much variety, and to find other ways of making money than just kegs. So more fishing/foraging/mining. And no rushing.
I'm sorry, WHAT. This better be a mod because, if I found out only now, months after I have already 100%ed the game, that the gold scythe can be used to bulk harvest crops, I'm gonna lose it.
Keg is great… for a mid game money maker. Throwing cheap crops in a Keg is going to triple your profits, but preserving jars are better for any crop with a base value of less than 50. Also you can skill up to making preserving jars way faster than kegs!
