Rainbow rod is my go to mage weapon. I always rush that. Makes hard mode easy mode.

this is my go-to mage weapon, I use it to fight pretty much everything all the way to the golem, after which I switch to betsy's wrath along with razorblade typhoon

Soul of light = sight cause you can see
Soul of night = might cause night is more dangerous
Both = fright. Because they both can be terrifying in their own ways
Terradia needs to run at 1000Hz

as a mage player, i am 100% agree with you that rainbow rod is also overpowered, because when i use that mage weapon, that weapon is a ultimate killer weapon, because of that case rainbo rod become one of my favorite mage weapon

You can beat the duke with this and the queen slime mount.

The rainbow rod (along with a shadow beam staff) made me start a mage playthrought because it was so fun to use
