My minecraft flying machine for my sugar cane farm doesnt work on purpur( spigot/bukkit) 1.20.1!!

So it keeps breaking when it hits the sugar cane ( the farm and flying machine is a design made by ilmango for his sugarcane farm in 1.19 but it works just fine in singleplayer 1.20.1) tho in my server it breaks in contact with the sugarcane please help me
